Info needed on Concert Tix

Hey peeps. Im looking to hit up the DMB show in Toronto but it is obviously sold out. [being the ONLY Canadian stop on their tour]...but my question is how much do scalpers charge on average for floor seats at a dave show. I wana get hit by sweat at this show and ebay is selling level 100's for like 450 a piece. I want CLOSER. If anyone has ever perchased floor tickets from a Scalper please let me know what u paid. ITs alright if u gimi american figures i can figure out a ballpark figure from that. Hope someone can help me out. cheers

I've never bought from a scalper, I myself have always had extras to sell in the camp ground at the Gorge (cause I always by as may as I can when they go on sale). I am proud to say, I have never sold a ticket over face value. You can make some really cool friends that way too.

someone offered me a ticket to WWE smackdown for almost 3 times what it was worth....jerk

Last tour I went with an extra ticket and had to sell it for $10 because so many people had extras.

i dont get why people would have extra seats. I went to Jack Johnson And BEn Harper and paid double the face value. And that was for lawns. Why would someone with floor seats to a Dave show sell them for face value or even less then face value. As im writting this im thinkin the States must have much strickter laws on scalping then us Canucks. Does anyone know the face value of a floor seat? I also might as well ask how do people get un-gettable tickets if they dont go through a scalper? try and win them on the radio or somthin? E bay is selling 100 levels for like 4bills. Now for u math wizards thats like $675 to us Canadians...FOR ONE SEAT...i find it hard to belive that amny people would spend that, but people are still bidding. By the time the show comes to town their gonna be a grand. Anywayu forgive my rant...will someone just give me floor seats..ill smoke u a spliff.

In my case, they weren't floor seats, but the person I was supposed to go with backed out on my last minute and I couldn't get anyone else to go. No one in the parking lot had any interest in buying tickets, so finally one guy said he'd give me $10. If it came between taking nothing or taking $10, you'd take the $10 too.

i agree i would take the ten bones too. Wasn't sayin ur a tool for doin it or ur bad at math. Just thought there might be laws prohibiting u from jackin up the price. Ten bones is ten more bones then u had before ur a shrewd business man. Anyways i talked to a friend of mine who works at 2 major radio stations. Now he said that he can pay off the person responsable for givvin away tickets..i said i wouldn't pay more then three bills for one. He is gonna get back to me in the next few days. I know he has doen it before its just a matter of if thatose two radio stations r giving Dave seats away or not..if they r then its in the bag if not then im up shits creek without a paddle. So Boom Boom if all this falls through i couldn't think of a bettter fan to go and see the best band with then urself. Regardless of what happens with the radio station u can ALWAYS find tickets outside the venue. For probably 150bucks....thats like ten for u yankee kids. So ill keep u posted on the upcomming senarios. thanks for the input everyone...still wondering if anybody EVER bought floors..scalped or not HOW MUCH....???...p.s doit
