RARE DAVE POSTER

Unread post by two steps too many » Mon Mar 03, 2003 1:52 am

I saw a poster a few years back; it was a big poster, black and white with dave playing a guitar, just like the top half of him and partial guitar....I think, but that's the gist of it. so i've searched the stores and web for it and no luck. i was hoping someone here might have seen it or know anything about it becuase it was the best poster ever if u love dave and love guitar

i got the poster, black and white, just the guitar and dave, with "dave matthews band" on the bottom right corner, i am guessing its what you are talking about, if you want, i'll put a pic of it on here
the ground beneath is nothing more than one point of view

i dont want to wake up, lost in the dreams of our fathers

Yeah that looks pretty damn close, but since it was a while ago i'm thinking it might not be it. I thought it was pretty much the same but he had a big body accoustic and the words "Dave Mathews" ran down the right hand side, from top to bottom. But chances are this is the one i'm thinking of.

thanks for the sluth works guys

Thats deffinatley it, its hanging on my wall, go to http://www.allposters.com and do a search for dave matthews and then click on the link for dave matthews band at the top of the page. They have it in a regular size and a giant size, the big one is $16.

Was it black and white, longer horizontally and vertically, really big, and picturing Dave sitting playing an acoustic session?

It is black and white, longer vertically than horizontally (60" long 40" wide) and he is standing up, at least it looks like it, and he is playing a chet. Go here: http://www.allposters.com/gallery.asp?s ... e+matthews
Click on the Dave Matthews Band link at the top middle of the screeen, its the one on the right side two rows down.

Are you talking about the one with his Chet or a different one? Maybe sitting singing hard and leaning back?

Hey, I purchased a paiting replication of that picture in Baltimore...

It looks so real, yet it is just a few brush strokes up close!
The artist who did the painting also has paintings of lots of other people too...
