He's a hardcore fan who works for a radio station in Boston. He's interviewed the band several times since 2001. Whenever he conducts an interview an article usually pops up on Ants, DBTP, Weekly Dave Speak, DMBnews.net, ect. Because he usually ask questions we'd all want to ask.

Antsmarching.org even has a section where you can listen to old interviews: http://antsmarching.org/downloads/cali.php

They don't have this years.

From last month: audio links to hear the interview are at the bottom of each page

Stefan http://mix1041.cbslocal.com/2012/06/06/ ... september/

Boyd http://mix1041.cbslocal.com/2012/06/20/ ... he-mirror/

Stefan one is the more important one. Boyd talks a lot about his new movie. Stefan is more about this tour and album talk.

The problem about current hard core fans is that they typically will love earthing the band does without question.

Best guesses at the bonus tracks for the new album? I wonder how many will be new and how many will be live tracks yet to be recorded.

I'm really just hoping for Shotgun, but wouldn't mind hearing a cleaned up Idea of You.

Took a double take and half-smiled at this line from the Stefan link:

"Lessard remarked that the decision to begin work on the new album in January was a pleasant surprise, as Matthews suddenly came to the rest of the band with a collection of songs for an album that was essentially complete."

Good news. But I listened to a few of the new released tracks and the lyrics are pretty damn terrible for what I could tell. It's like Dave's just writing sentences....it sounds awkward.

I like the song, but the "Official Lyric Video" for Mercy is one of the most obnoxious things I've ever watched. Did someone in the DMB crew just find the transitions page on Windows Movie Maker?

I hate this new craze of lyric videos.

Yeah. The music has a solid groove and all, but damn. I thought the same as Gianni: it's just a regurgitation of Shake Me Like a Monkey. I was so pumped hearing that Dave was the main writer for these sessions, too. Damn.
