Yeah, talk about lucky, how often does something like that happen to someone. "Oh, you just started playing, well me and some guys thought you might like to Jam a bit, maybe play some gigs, who knows if it'll go any where." It's also what happenes when someone picks something other than the guitar, bass players are few and far between compared to how many guitarists there are out there. Someone is more willing to take a chance on a year bass player than a year guitar player.
