there is a post on demonoid that has the whole album now. The description says that these are the "unfinished" tracks but some of the comments say it sounds like good quality.

No intro and the tracklisting isn't right.

The intro is contained in SMLAM that's why the tracklist is off. the other two extra files are different takes of the Grux+SMLAM and FTWII

Ya, apparently they are mixes from April that are unfinished. Still good though!

Does alligator pie remind anyone else of Consoler Of The Lonely from the Raconteurs (Especially with the tempo change)?

this album isn't mediocre, it's good... not BTSC, but rather BWGGK... hope that clarifies everything
and Seven isn't as bad as it is in concert

So on first listen I like it. It's a lot more mellow than I expected, more slow songs than I realized. There are some pretty glaring weak spots (Seven, Spaceman, Why I Am), but overall it's a solid album. I'd place it firmly on par with Everyday, if not better. But I'll wait until I hear the finished product and have a couple weeks to soak it in before I make any declarations. I will say this: at worst it's light years better than Stand Up.

And I agree with d.m.b.41: Seven isn't as bad on the album. It's still the worst song, but live it's a total loss. It somehow manages to fit in its place on the track list.

Edit: The last 3 tracks are a solid close out. I really like Time Bomb, despite the ZOMG TEH ENERGIEZ!!!11!!1! part.

Totally. After hearing MBB I'm really surprised that they're still playing Sister. It sounds like a reworking.

Yeah. It's not the final version but from some sessions in April, I guess. Check Demonoid.

So what is assumed to be different about this from the acutal cd? Just not as good of quality?

I really wanna listen to a finished product so I hope this doesn't cheapen it, planned on blasting it a time or two on my drive back to Meadville after work.

Yeah not as good quality and not completely mastered I guess. There are no strings on these versions of My Baby Blue and You & Me, but overall this sounds pretty finished.
