Dave Matthews Band treated festival-goers to a supercharged, electric set as the closer of the inaugural Mile High Music Festival outside Denver, CO this past July. Refreshed from a week-long respite midway through the annual summer tour, Dave Matthews Band delivered an incendiary two and a half hour performance, including new covers unveiled earlier in the summer.

The Colorado release, Live at Mile High Music Festival is now available for Pre-Order as a 3-CD set or as a digital download in MP3 or FLAC format.

Live at Mile High Music Festival is being offered at a reduced Pre-Order ONLY price of $17.99. We have created a commemorative longsleeve shirt and fleece beanie, both of which feature a special DMB Mile High festival logo and are being offered as bundle options with the Pre-Order.

* Mile High Music Festival Longsleeve Shirt
100% pre-shrunk, heavyweight cotton longsleeve shirt in indigo featuring a special DMB Mile High Music Festival logo. Available in unisex sizes S-XX.
* Mile High Music Festival Beanie
Warm and soft, black fleece beanie featuring a special embroidered DMB Mile High Music Festival logo. Available in one size.

Highlights of the Live at Mile High release include Jimi Thing, which features a commanding solo by Boyd and Dave's entertaining scatting. Carter's thundering drum solo on Two Step, and Tim Reynolds' solos on You Might Die Trying and Proudest Monkey are not to be missed. The So Much To Say segue into Anyone Seen the Bridge>Too Much>Ants Marching is a truly remarkable part of the Colorado show!

DMB's cover of Peter Gabriel's Sledgehammer will make its album debut on the Colorado release. From the crowd stirring opener, Don't Drink the Water through the prized #41 jam, to the triple encore ending with Sly and the Family Stone's Thank You (Falletin Me Be Mice Elf Agin), Live at Mile High Music Festival is a must-have for the DMB collection.

FROM THE MANAGEMENT:
Dave Matthews Band treated festival-goers to a supercharged, electric set as the closer of the inaugural Mile High Music Festival outside Denver, CO this past July. Refreshed from a week-long respite midway through the annual summer tour, Dave Matthews Band delivered an incendiary two and a half hour performance, including new covers unveiled earlier in the summer.

FROM US:
The second show to be released from DMB's stellar 2008 summer tour, 7.20.08 will complement the recent Live Trax 13 quite well. Eight songs are featured on both of these releases, but the Bush Stadium show was much earlier in the tour, so this release will give fans a chance to see the progression certain songs made over the course of the tour (particularly So Damn Lucky, which by this show had begun to feature an extended jam at the end). Another major difference between this show and Live Trax 13 is the presence of Jeff Coffin, who by this time was filling in for the injured LeRoi Moore.

Mile High marks the first official releases of Sledgehammer and the full-band Gravedigger, as well as the "new" Old Dirt Hill. Other songs making their 2008-release debut on Mile High are as follows: #41, Anyone Seen the Bridge, Eh Hee, Jimi Thing, Proudest Monkey, Satellite, So Much to Say, Stay, and Too Much.

Despite its being webcast live, this will be the first in-store live release to lack a DVD component since 2001's Live in Chicago (which, incidentally, was also webcast). It also appears that there is no pre-order bonus disc, which has been a staple of DMB releases since the release of Some Devil in 2003.

Pre-order here.

i was front row at this show, it definetly was not that great of the set list but ive never seen so much energy from the whole band before, they were there to party and party they did. dave also says some hilarious stuff in between songs. "nice to see yall are having a good time at mile hiiiiiiiiiiiiiggggggghhhhhhh"
