Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds Interview (Questions)?

Unread post by dagoba6@aol.com » Sat Feb 01, 2003 8:46 pm

Hello All,
I just wanted to let everyone know I am in the process of getting a backstage pass for the Dave and Tim Show in Boone, NC to do an Interview with the two of them. I wanted to get everyone to post questions for them and a wish list on what Dave and Tim fans would like to see. I Already have a few things in mind on what I want to know and see, but would also like to get some from the members of the BEST DAVE SITE OUT THERE. It is NOT a for sure thing at the moment but as of right now things are looking good for it to happen. When I get back from the show I will post the Q&A on the site here. Maybe I can even get Dave to post something on the site himself. :)

Thanks
Nick G.

That sounds pretty cool man. The first thing that I can think of is asking Dave if he used a HD-28 or an HD-28V at Storytellers in order to finally end the bickering. Just a thought.

I would ask him if he thinks that this D and T tour will be different from all the others. Since there are new DMB sounds/and songs.
I would also ask if he is going to like getting back into a more intement setting with his fans, since he's so used to playing to 20,000-80,000 people in his concerts.
Cheers

ask him if he got offended at the dave and tim show in buffalo in 1999 when one guy in the audience told him to shut up and play, and how he deals with heckling like that (that time he said 'bite my dick, motherfucker' and ive never laughed so hard

Here's a couple of questions....

How does he, Ashley, and the girls make their family work with him always traveling? I assume they don't travel with him much since I think she is still performing her residence.

Also, I'm surprised his marriage and the birth of twins has not seemly inspired him to write more straight forward love/uplifting songs.

These are all good questions everyone. As soon as I have 100% confirmation that everything is a go, I will write down all of these and take them with me. I should know something in the next 2 weeks.

I wonder what he finds difficult (musically or physically) to play as a guitarist.

Ask him, "Even though you are such a unique and great guitar player, how do you feel even now when you play with someone like Tim Reynolds?" Then ask Tim, "Doesn't it rule being so damn good?" Then ask if they're coming over to the west coast!!!

He talks about it on Storytellers (not the aired version). He says something abut how it's about him figuring out what he thinks God is, or something. I'm not listening to it right now, but that's what I remember. Try here...http://dmb.nntp69.us/ and scroll down to 3/24/1999. When it comes up in Media player (or whatever) scroll down to the one that says Bartender Inspiration and click it... :)
