Hey...kinda-sorta still new here...hell, who cares? I'sa just wonderin' somethin...
On the studio (and a few live) version of Too Much, after the bridge/mid-section/violin-jam/whatever, who plays that big ass chromatic guitar part? (if I've confused the shit outta ya...on the studio version, it comes in at 2:26) Y'know...the one with 4 sextuplets (or 12 triplets...) right in a row? Is it Dave or Tim?
Ya think it'd be Tim...But I've got a live version with both Dave and Tim, Dave on the left side of the speaker, Tim on the right side (it's obvious, 'cause Tim's playing an electric...Dave's playin an acoustic...after you've played guitar for a few years, you recognize what sounds like what). But...I'm still confused as all hell (even though I probably shouldn't be...), because when that part is played, it comes through on Dave's side...dammit...I'm not sayin it shouldn't be Dave...My brain just refuses to function sometimes.
I'm just requesting some enlightenment. Does anyone have some info on this?
