DMB to Headline Mile High Music Festival in Colorado (03/18/2008)

We are excited to announce that Dave Matthews Band will be headlining the first annual Mile High Music Festival presented by SanDisk, scheduled to take place just outside of Denver, CO at the Outer Fields area of Dick's Sporting Goods Park on July 19-20, 2008. DMB will perform as top bill on on Sunday, July 20th, while Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers will headline the festival on Saturday, July 19th. Other artists in the lineup include John Mayer, The Black Crowes, O.A.R., Michael Franti and Spearhad, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Steve Winwood, Colbie Caillat, The Roots and many more! The Mile High Music Festival, the likes of which Colorado has never before seen, will feature five stages (some tented), food from many of Denver's best restaurants, an artists' village, misting tents and more.

I hate the term "first annual". You can't guarantee it'll happen next year.

Yeah, that's always bothered me,too. Besides, calling it something like the "first ever" makes it seem more special. First annual? Okay, I'll catch it sometime later. First ever? Where do I sign up?
