i copy/pasted this directly from the warehouse. these are ALL the guidelines for all ticketing done through the Warehouse. Hope this helps.
The Warehouse wrote:Introduction to Warehouse Ticketing

As a benefit of Warehouse membership, members are offered a priority ticketing service. Members will have the opportunity to purchase a limited number of tickets in advance of public on-sale dates. Warehouse members may request tickets during a specified period, which will be announced via e-mail and posted on the Warehouse website. There is no guarantee, however, that your ticket request can be filled.

Request periods are referred to as numbered Series (for example Series 1-2007) and there may be several Series depending upon the length of a tour. Occasionally seats may be made available to the Warehouse simultaneously with the availability of seats being opened for sale to the General Public. This often occurs when Dave Matthews Band sells out a show in a venue and adds another show on the same On-Sale date. Please check the Warehouse website for more information.

In Warehouse ticketing, two processes determine the successful selection of members' orders to qualify for a ticket. The first process is a random selection and all members regardless of membership year standing have an equal chance of being confirmed for tickets. The second process allocates each order to the available seats. All qualifying orders entered into the seat allocation process will be sorted by one of two methods:

1. Utilizing the seniority system for each membership year to determine seat assignments

OR

2. Utilizing random selection to determine the order of seat assignments.

Warehouse Ticketing reserves the right to choose, and to not disclose, which method of seat selection is used for each event.

For Dave Matthews Band concerts held in arenas, the Warehouse will offer reserved seating in a 360-degree configuration around an end-stage. The Warehouse will not issue refunds once cards have been charged. For questions regarding these guidelines, please e-mail whtix@davematthewsband.com.

Ticket Confirmations

With respect to ticketing, the primary goal of the Warehouse is to provide a way for members to obtain seats to shows in advance of the general public. Warehouse members have an opportunity to purchase tickets through the Warehouse, but there is no guarantee that you will qualify to purchase tickets. Ticket requests made through the Warehouse may exceed seating availability. The Warehouse does reserve seats throughout the entire venue and we have made every attempt to reserve quality seats. Due to floor and equipment layout changes on the show day, we cannot guarantee that all seats will have an unobstructed view.

Our goal is to post your ticket status, confirmed or declined, in the Ticketing section of the Warehouse website before tickets are offered for sale to the general public. (In rare incidents this may not occur.) In general, the Warehouse will provide section and row locations to each member, at some point after orders are confirmed and prior to the shipment of tickets.

Please note that during the ticket request period, the time that you place your request for tickets does not affect the outcome of your order or seat assignments.

E-Mail Announcements

If you have an e-mail address on file with the Warehouse, you will be sent an e-mail notifying you that the Warehouse Ticket Request Period has begun. You may update your e-mail address at any time on the web site by clicking on the "my info" link in upper right hand corner of the home page after logging in.

How to request tickets and ticket limits

Unless otherwise stated, members may request:

* Up to two (2) tickets per show

Requesting Online

The simplest way to request tickets is online.

To request tickets online, visit the Ticketing section of the Warehouse website and click on "REQUEST TICKETS/TOURDATES". From there, find the show dates and request tickets accordingly. Please note that Premier Parking tickets and Camping passes, if available, will be offered as a separate "event".

Your online order must be paid for by Visa, MasterCard, or American Express. Your card will initially be authorized for the total amount that you could be charged. Once a show is processed, if the authorization was successful, a charge will be placed on your card for the actual sale. The authorization will then be removed from your card and only the sale charge will remain. Your card will not be charged for the actual sale if your order is not confirmed during processing. Please note that your card may be charged at any time after the ticketing request period closes and before the Warehouse posts ticket confirmations. If the charge to the card is declined for any reason, your request will not be filled. You may not contact the Warehouse with an alternate credit card number if your order is declined.

To avoid being declined by your bank due to the online nature of the charge, please contact your bank prior to the end of the ticketing request period to alert them of a potential authorization.

Changing or Modifying an Online Ticket Request

Until the Ticketing Request Period ends, you may modify or cancel your request from your Ticket Status page by clicking on the “check” link listed below the "Payment Detail" column for address or credit card changes, and the “check” link listed below the "Show Detail" column to change the number of tickets requested or to cancel an order. Requests cannot be changed after the Ticketing Request Period ends.

Requesting Tickets By Mail

You may request tickets by mail, but you must act quickly to do so. Please do not use this method if you have Internet access due to the very narrow time frame that you have to request tickets for each Series. The Warehouse is not responsible for any delay in receiving mail-in requests. Postmarks do not count. The request must be received before the Ticketing Request Period ends or it will not be processed, no exceptions. If you must request tickets by mail, we recommend using U.S.P.S. Priority Mail to increase the chances of timely delivery.

Warehouse Tickets by Mail requests must be paid for by U.S.P.S. Money Order or International Money Order (in U.S. Dollars only). Click here for the order form.

Tickets requested by Mail may not be modified or cancelled after the initial request is made.

Specifying Ticket Types

For Dave Matthews Band concerts held in arenas, the Warehouse will offer reserved seating in a 360-degree configuration around an end-stage. In an arena, there will be one ticket price unless otherwise noted. The only ticket type option for an arena tour will be “Reserved”.

We also offer a limited amount of special seating (wheel chair and mobility accessible, sight and hearing impaired) for most shows. Due to the limited number of seats in these sections, we cannot guarantee that all requests can be filled. Unfortunately, the Warehouse can no longer accept the honor system for requesting these types of seats due to the limited availability of the accessible seating and due to members falsely requesting these seats with hopes of acquiring better seats. We must now request that you submit a doctor's letter, on his/her letterhead stating that the special seating is warranted. It is not our intention to inconvenience those with a genuine needs for these seats, but, rather, to help insure that we can fill all legitimate requests. Please fax the doctor's letter to the attention of DMB Warehouse (434) 951-9006 prior to ordering tickets. A note must be on file when confirmations are issued and special needs seating is assigned. If the doctor's note is found to be fraudulent, the Warehouse reserves the right to cancel the membership without refund and void the tickets.

Warehouse Premier Parking

Warehouse Premier Parking will be offered for many of the concert venues. The Premier Parking request form will show up as a separate "event" in the ticket request system and one parking ticket per show may be requested along with concert tickets within a "Series". Warehouse Premier Parking tickets may be requested by all members who request concert tickets for an applicable show. Warehouse Premier Parking tickets will only be applied to your order if you are confirmed for concert tickets for that show.

A Premier Parking space will be held at the head of the parking lot close to the front gate of the venue until the DMB show starts. Your space will be close to the front no matter what time you arrive prior to show time. Warehouse Premier Parking spaces are held until the start of the event and cannot be guaranteed if you arrive after the event starts.

Warehouse Premier Parking tickets will be shipped with your concert tickets on a per Series basis and are not subject to convenience fees, shipping or handling charges. Purchase of Warehouse Premier Parking is a separate transaction and does not guarantee event seating. Warehouse Premier Parking is offered for cars only. Members arriving with buses, limos and oversize vehicles will not be allowed access to Premier Parking lots with Warehouse Premier Parking tickets. Premier Parking for larger vehicles may be requested through the venue box offices if available.

The Warehouse Premier Parking ticket is not a concert ticket. For more specific information regarding Premier Parking at each venue, please refer to the venue's official website.

Warehouse Preferred Lawn

The Warehouse will be offering the popular Warehouse Preferred Lawn area again at many of the 2007 Dave Matthews Band's amphitheater shows. A limited number of members will be selected to gain access to this area.

A special roped-off section, generally located in a central area of the lawn, will be restricted to Warehouse members holding special Warehouse Preferred Lawn tickets, until intermission. Warehouse Preferred Lawn ticket holders will be able to secure a nice vantage point from which to watch the show and a greater opportunity to interact with other Warehouse members.

Requests from Members Residing in Canada

If you live in Canada and are requesting tickets for a show in the U.S. you must pay for your tickets in U.S. Dollars. We are unable to accept payment in Canadian Dollars at this time. Mail-in requests from Canada for all shows must be paid for by International Money Orders in U.S. Dollars only.

Requests from Members Residing Outside the U.S. and Canada

If you live outside the U.S. or Canada and are requesting tickets for a show in the U.S., you must have a shipping and billing address within the U.S. or Canada. Please note that all ticket prices will be posted in U.S. dollars. We do not accept mail orders from outside the U.S. or Canada. A courier of our choice will ship tickets and applicable charges will be billed to your credit card.

Taper Tickets

Please note, the Warehouse no longer offers designated taper tickets. Taping is generally permitted from any seat location in all venues as long as taping equipment does not interfere with clear access for other concertgoers to leave their seats and access fire aisles. Taping is limited to audio taping only, and such taping may be made only from a recording microphone in the audience being used by the taper. Any other taping method is prohibited. When positioning taping equipment, please respect other concertgoers' view of the stage. Please review the legal policy regarding taping.

Confirming Your Ticket Request

Please check the website to confirm your request and to check your ticket status. After you have placed your ticket request, please visit the Warehouse "Check Ticket Status" page and check the status. It will state whether your request is either "pending" - your request has been received, “processing” – the ordering period is closed and ticket requests are being processed, "confirmed" - your request has been approved and is ready for seat allocation process, or "declined" - your request could not be processed successfully.

Please note that no changes may be made to requests once the Ticketing Request Period ends. Please make sure that all ticket, shipping and billing information is correct prior to the close of the Ticketing Request Period.

How to Pay for Your Order

Tickets requested online through the Warehouse Ticketing must be paid for by charge card or credit card only (VISA, MC or AMEX only). Only one credit card may be used per Series. Please note that some banks and credit card companies will not recognize or process internet transactions for various reasons, or may require a voice authorization from the merchant to do so. Because of time constraints and the volume of requests that we receive, we cannot accommodate requests for voice authorizations. To insure that your card can be processed, we suggest that you contact your bank or credit card company concerning these policies. With some companies, you may have the option to obtain pre-authorization for your purchases and you may want to consider this when requesting tickets. Please note that your card may be charged at any time after the Ticketing Request Period closes. Please note that due to time constraints, if your credit card is declined, we will not be able to reprocess the order.

Tickets requested through Warehouse Tickets by Mail must be paid for with an U.S.P.S. Money Order only.

Within each Series, only one method of payment may be used. We cannot accept one ticket request with a credit card and another with a money order.

The Cost of Your Order

If you request Warehouse tickets online, the total maximum charge for your order is automatically calculated for you. If you request Warehouse tickets by mail you must be sure to calculate the correct charges, or your order will not be processed. If you need assistance, call Customer Service at (434) 984-6850 (applicable long-distance charges apply). In addition to the base ticket prices the following fees will apply:

Convenience Fee $3.50 per Ticket
Handling Fee $1.75 per Show
Delivery Fee $9.50 per Series (US $16.50 for all Canadian shipments)

Separate ticket and/or series orders require separate Handling and Delivery Fees. Tickets to different shows can be combined in one order only if all the shows are in the same show Series. It is not possible to combine shows from separate Series into one order.

If your request cannot be filled, there will be no sale charge applied to your card. If you requested tickets by mail and we cannot fulfill your request, your money orders will be returned to you in the self-addressed, stamped envelope you provided at the time of the request.

Resale of Tickets

You may not resell the tickets you purchase through the Warehouse for more than their purchase price. If any Warehouse member is found to be reselling, trading or brokering tickets for profit that they purchased through the Warehouse, the Warehouse may, at its discretion

(i) forfeit such Member's membership and membership fee;

and/or

(ii) cancel such Member's ticket order and all other pending orders of such Member and refund the total price for the tickets minus a $3.50 per ticket processing fee, plus the amount of any shipping fees that have been incurred with respect to the order.

We urge you not to purchase tickets through brokers or "scalpers." These tickets can be counterfeit in which case you are not only overcharged but the ticket will not even allow you admission into a show.

We also reserve the right to cancel the membership of any member found to be scalping Dave Matthews Band tickets, regardless if they were purchased through the Warehouse or through another ticketing source.

Refunds

Sorry, the Warehouse will not issue any refunds. All ticketing sales are final. Once the ordering period closes, no changes can be made to the requests.

The Warehouse Ticketing Timelines

During a tour, the current status of the Warehouse Ticket Sale process is posted on the tour dates page. Shortly after a tour is announced, estimated ship dates are posted on the Ticket Status page as well as the main Ticketing page of the website.

Delivery of Tickets

Tickets will be shipped by priority 2-day delivery within the U.S. and to Canada.

Please check http://www.fedex.com/us/services/waysto ... tml?link=4 for details about FedEx delivery information.

Tickets will be shipped to the shipping address you provide with your request.

International members must provide a shipping address within the U.S. or Canada.

Make sure the shipping address entered is where you will be at the time your order will be delivered via FedEx. Shipments cannot be made to P.O. Box or APO Addresses. You must have a telephone number for your shipping address registered with your Billing and Shipping information. If your shipping address is incorrect in your shipping and billing registration, you will be charged to re-route or re-send your tickets.

On the day your tickets are shipped, you will be sent an e-mail including FedEx Tracking information.

Please note that ticket packages delivered by Fed Ex must be signed for upon delivery. We do not allow release signatures for delivery. We encourage those of you who do have a release signature on file with Fed Ex, to cancel this, as tickets left in hallways or at doorsteps cannot be tracked. Warehouse ticketing is not responsible for lost tickets due to a signature release on file.

If Fed Ex is unable to deliver your package after three attempts, your tickets will be returned to Warehouse Ticketing. You will receive an e-mail or phone call stating that your tickets will be placed at Will Call at the venue on the day of the first show you will attend. Once your tickets have been placed at will call, name changes will not be permitted, no exceptions. They will only be left in the name of the Warehouse member who originally placed the order.

Please inspect your tickets upon delivery. If you have any questions regarding the tickets or have not received your tickets 2 days prior to the show, please contact Warehouse Ticketing at whtix@davematthewsband.com.

Tickets at Will Call

Some Warehouse members will be required to pick up tickets at the Will Call Window at the venue box office. Warehouse members may be chosen at random or chosen if suspected of being involved in scalping activity. This is not an option. If this occurs you will receive a notice of this via e-mail. You will receive a credit to your credit card of the delivery fee if you charged the ticket purchase or a return of the money order for your delivery fee if you paid by money order. Tickets must be picked up by the Warehouse member who originally ordered them, by presenting a valid ID and referencing his/her Warehouse membership number. Name changes will not be permitted if your tickets are left at will call, no exceptions.

Terms of the Tickets

The purchase and use of the tickets purchased through the Warehouse are subject to the following additional terms and conditions:

Each ticket is a revocable license to the specific seat and for the time listed on the front thereof. Management reserves the right, without the refund of any portion of the ticket purchase price, to refuse admission or to eject any person who fails to comply with the rules of the venue. There are no refunds/exchanges. The ticket user assumes all risks of personal injury incidental to the event, whether occurring prior to, during, or subsequent to the event. Ticket purchaser/user bears all risks of inclement weather. Tickets lost or stolen cannot be replaced. The resale or attempted resale of a ticket at a price higher than that appearing thereon is prohibited and if discovered may result in the ticket being voided without refund. The ticket may not be used for advertising, promotion (including contests and sweepstakes) or other trade purposes without the express written consent of Dave Matthews Band, Inc. ("DMB").

Cameras (still or video) are not permitted in the venue. Audio recording of the show is permitted only to the extent and for the uses allowed under the DMB taping policy. The ticket user consents to DMB and its affiliates use of his or her image or likeness incidental to any video display, transmission or recording of the event.

Updates to these Guidelines

These guidelines may change at any time. Any revised guidelines will be posted on the Warehouse website. You may receive a printed copy of any new guidelines by sending a stamped self-addressed envelope to the Warehouse at:

It was cool for me up until like 3-4 years ago when they actually gave me decent tix cause I was one of the first people to sign up for the site (I may not have been but I've been a member since the first year) thus I got awesome seats. Now, I get shafted every year

It blows...big time. Definitely not worth it anymore since everyone is a member and it greatly reduces everyones chance of getting good tix from them.

My seats have gotten progressively closer every year I've been in it. Having said that, I fully expect the shaft next year.

1. There is a lottery to determine WHO gets tickets to each show (if more people request tickets than number of tickets available).
2. Seniority then kicks in; of those who win the lottery, whoever has been a member the longest gets the best seats.

So - those of you who got "shafted" with poor seats, it was because members who joined before you got the better ones.

I personally think they should increase the price of the membership and make it more worth while. And, I think (at least I think I think) the seat location process should be a lottery as well.

$35 bucks is pretty cheap - up the ante, slim down the pool. But, I'm not complaining - it works for me. Better than nothing.
