from Stefan's myspace blog....
Escape from Alcatraz

Just last night I got back from Seattle to San Francisco where we opened up for the Rolling Stones. I had a blast! I loved being an opener for a change, getting up on the stage of one of rocks greatest bands to have ever graced the airways and stages of this world. It was rejuvenating and thrilling to be on a stage that was unfamiliar and be playing for an audience there to see someone else. I truly had a great time. The stage for the Stones is huge. I was scarred to death when BT went flying along the edge on Louisiana Bayou. It would not have been good if he tripped and fell of the edge. We opened up for the Stones years ago but we were a little more used to being an opening band back then. It was so much fun and I can not wait till Friday in El Paso, Texas.

Tomorrow though we will be doing a sound check for this weekend's benefit concert for the Bridge School. What a great line up! Check out the school and concerts details by going to their web site, http://www.bridgeschool.org . I really love being exposed to so many musicians and bands that I admire, especially for such a great cause, plus, the bonus to the whole weekend, we are playing acoustic which means I get to play my beautiful big Taylor acoustic bass. What more could a musician ask for,

"I'm just sittin.. on the dock by the bay....".

They will probably just replace those more uptempo Stand Up songs for mellow ones. So that means ODH, Dreamgirl and Stolen Away most likely.

I highly doubt Tim will be there. I hope Butch will, that would be pretty cool.

Yeah your right, now that I think about it. He wouldn't really fit in on the acoustic setting, it should just be the 5 of them.
