My friends and I just got our lawn tickets and are real stoked on taking the drive out there to see DMB and Gov't Mule. From what I've read, the venue is beautiful with incredible sound quality.

Anyone else going?

I've been there the last few years and it is pretty cool. I've been in the pavilion the last two summers, and the sound was incredible, but, the sound in the lawn is 10x worse. The lots blow and beer is extremely overpriced(which is pretty typical wherever you go). This will be the first year in about 5-6 that I won't be seeing DMB in my hometown.

I hate to do this, but I went there last year. The lawn sound is bad. It's extremely quiet. They started playing What Would You Say and I didn't even realize that they were playing a song until the drum hit came at the end of the intro.

Huge lawn though. And you'll probably have more fun hanging and road tripping with your friends rather than the concert. I know I did.

No offense or anything, but I will never get anything else other than Lawn seats there, it is absolutely amazing. I personally think the sound is awesome, and I am hoping to go back there again this year. But that's just my opinion ;)

Believe me, you don't realize how shitty the sound on the lawn is until you walk under the pavilion. The acoustics of the pavilion are amazing. The sound is at least 10x better under the pavilion (obviously).

Yeah, the venue is awesome. You can fit so many people in that place it's not funny. I went to that show and one in Cinncy, and I don't think I really want to go back to Cinncy, and I've been back to Blossom 3 times. I love that place :D

Blossom is pretty cool. I went '04 and '05 and loved it. Can't make it this yr bc i'm doing alpine both nights, dte, and columbus soo expenses are sort of tight but the venue is a beautiful landscape. Very worth it!

I saw FOB there and I couldnt even see the stage from the lawn, at all. I was pretty close to the front though, so Id get mid lawn if you want to see anything. I dont think youre 21, but if you are, beer is $8.75 and there is only 1 atm in the whole place. Its going to be fun no matter what venue youre at, but I prefer Star Lake.

Yes I love blossom. Its in my home town. Its great i think you will love it. As far as the lawn goes mixed reviews on it. But never watched a show from the lawn just under the roof. Am going this year to. My brother is coming up from ga to see them with me. I got pavilion seats for the aug 2nd show. I cant wait loved it last year. :)
