Support Act Survey

DMB is doing a fanbase survey to see what bands we would like to open for them during the 2006 summer tour. I think this is a neat idea, especially if some of the bands we recommend get picked. I'm definitly suggesting Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, and will probably put down Keller Williams too.

Check it out.

I don't think I ever make it into the show for an opening act at a DMB show. The one exception was nappy roots, couldn't pass that up.

John Butler Trio was cool.
Jurassic 5 was cool.
Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals was the best.

When I saw them a couple years ago it was quite possibly the most fun I've had at a concert. It may not have been the best concert, but it was a shitload of fun. Front row too. Mmmmmm

who brock?

Ben Harper opened in 2000 and I didn't really know him. Then he opened on the VFC tour when I was front row and I saw them last summer at a small venue in Chicago. I was like 3 deep for most of the show, but then it got hot and there were a lot of douches around so I backed up. He's so fucking good. I love that Gospel album they did.

He's playing Langerado, I've never seen them. I'm excited now.

ZERO. To see them twice this year its going to cost me around $120 for tix. To see UM by themselves twice would cost me around $40.
