The word on the street is that Gorge 06 will be Labor Day weekend:

Also, Wildhorse Campground is already showing it on their website.

Time to make plans people :D

Please God! Not labor day weekend. I'll probably be in SD by then and have to see them at coors. They've had some shitty shows there in past few years,
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away

Depends on where you are coming from.

I came from my hometown of Virginia Beach, Virginia. I got into Seattle the night before the show (Thursday) and did not leave until the following Tuesday (the last show was Sunday night). During the concert run I stayed at the campsite in Vantage (Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights). Monday night I stayed at a campground at Mount Raineer. This is a ballpark of my approximate costs:

Round Trip Airline Ticket: $286.50
Hotel for the night upon arrival in Seattle: $45.00
Rental car for 5 days: $160.00
Gasoline: $90 (includes filling the tank of the awesome fellow DVD trader from Portland that paid for my campsite and much of the food)
DMB Tickets for 3 nights (reserved seating) $240.00
Campsite at Vantage -3 nights (no charge…paid by another fellow DVD trader)
Breakfasts: $30.00
Lunch and Dinners (paid for by another fellow DVD trader)
Beer (4 cases): $75.00 at Costco
Ice: $15.00
Cooler: $12.00 (not a throwaway...I gave it to a local when I left)
Chips and munchies: $30.00
Campsite at Mount Raineer: $15.00
Food for the last day: $35.00

So the total for my trip was around $1,033.50…..or more realistically around $1,100.00 to $1,200.00 (I probably bought more beer there somewhere)

This was worth every penny!!!

That would make it 100% infeasible for me to go.

I was traveling alone, so I could not split the cost of the hotel night, rental car, gas, cooler and Raineer campsite with anyone. If you go with a group, your cost will be less....and you could go with lawn seats instead of reserve. That could bring the cost (for my case) down to around $700.

Come on, you have 7 months to save!! That's about $35 a week. It is def do-able if you make it is a priority.
