MSG N1 would be better than N2.

PIG>Halloween

However, I did see Halloween in 02 at MSG, it was awesome, as well as seeing James Brown too. :)

Oh yeah, Pig plus ABI is a good night. I really think N1 trumped N2.

I think they are both equally mediocre. One song does not change a set, just because they played Halloween does not make up for the rest of the show which was extremely standard.

I think they were actually pretty even overall...n1 was solid but N2 had 7 non-stand up songs in a row and halloween and seek up

I can't wait for this to turn into a serious discussion, Oh wait, it already did. :)

Remember,it's only opinion based, and I agree, one song doesn't make a night better, but 2 does. ;)

Ok................um first off if i were at the first show it would have taken dave to bring out timmy reynolds, robert randolph, trey and bella fleck.....to even come close to the set list from the second night......You have to be crazy to even compare the two nights.............

- Robert Randolph
-Halloween into Antsmarching vs two step
-um Robert Randolph
- Robert Randolph teasing Kanye West
- The Setlist = RIDICULOUS
- The Friggin Confetti thing during Halloween
- Linus and Lucy
- Minarets
- seek up

Ok its friggin 3 n the morning thats all i can think of for now but if u really want more reasons just im me seriously......oh yea and um hmm pig he plays alot ive heard it like 3 times in the last 6 shows ive been to this year, um and two step come on how predictable hmmm he always plays that, its at best a normal ending to a dave concert.........THere is no way in hell U can say Halloween with that kind of lighting and shit into freakin antsmarching is a normal ending to a dave show.......
BOTTOM LINE NIGHT TWO KICKED THE #$@!@ OUT OF NIGHT ONE

So seek up, minarets, linus and lucy, bayou with RR, jimi thing with doughty, and christmas song are extremely standard now? Unbelievable..

I can't believe you bitches are whining about the set tonight. It disgusts me. There really is no pleasing some of us. If you could have gone and didn't because you wanted to silently protest with a pout on your face, then it sucks for you, because you missed an amazing and powerful night.

This was the most amazing concert I have ever seen, out of the 9 times I've seen the band now. Every song was the best version I've ever heard.

I like how things like LB with robert randolph are now cast aside as being "standard." fuck off.

Even the stand up material was enjoyable, especially since the majority of them were the good SU songs, and smooth rider was amped by RR. Seek Up was chilling, Minarets had the muted guitar/scat intro (yeah yeah yeah yeah ahhh! SO GOOD) and some vocal intro by dave with lyrics that were from a familiar song that i couldn't place (something something dyyyyyyyiiiiiing), Butch tore it up with Linus and Lucy, something that hasn't been played before this tour since 2000 (and only 3x so far this tour, same for rapunzel), Jimi Thing with Mike was so cool, it was like a scat contest between him, butch and dave ("is that too much to ask? is that too much to ask?!") and a nice buffalo springfield outro, Smooth Rider was out of control with RR (Voodoo Chile!), and Bayou was the most intense thing I have ever seen. And to not stop there, and encore with halloween (SNOW CONFETTI EVERYWHERE, AMAZING SIGHT), into funk intro ants, I could not have asked for anything else. Except smts could have gone into astb which could have gone into the last stop ( ).

Night 1 was "good," at best, compared to tonight. I'm not sure I'll ever see a stronger dave show. If this doesn't deserve a Live Trax release, then I don't know what does.

And i've learned that you really can't knock the setlist unless you were there. The band likes playing SU material because they haven't played each song 2342 times yet. There will always be an elite upper echelon of loyal fans that will not be content until SU is eliminated completely from the setlists, and they start playing BTCS in its entirety. I, for one, will be cutting the band a lot more slack after seeing them tonight, because they've proved to me that they are still, in my opinion, one of the greatest bands around. For those of you that are still cranky after this tour, especially if you go to a show, then i wish you the best of luck finding happiness with this band again, because you're going to need it.

and one more edit: I think stand up is the worst album the band has ever made, but I believe I'll be hard pressed to see a better show than i did tonight.

the dave lyrics you couldnt remember for minarets intro were probably the beatles "tomorrow never knows."

how was mike doughtys band, i would really of liked to see them too?

anyway glad you got to see that show andy, it looks incredible.
