Unread post by jellyfish » Thu Nov 17, 2005 9:17 am

There aren't any threads indidcating who is actually going from these boards, so here is a thread.

I'm not sure how good my seats are.... lemme check em again... It's the Arena at MSG right?

Night 1:
333 E Tower C
333 E Gate 76

Night 2:
51 E Tower A
51 E Gate 61

I'm sure all the seats are good, but night 2 looks like we're pretty close. How does DMB do MSG? Is it like Listener Supported? They're at one end, but surrounded by fans?

Last time I was there the stage was at one end of the basketball court/floor and then.... well, hold on I will post an image.

Go here and choose the arena, then select concert for event type in the pull down box. You do have good seats for N2, but your fucked for night 1.

Actually I was in the 300's for N2 in 2002, they weren't horrible but Dave looked like an Ant.

Someone on ebay is trying to sell two tickets almost behind the stage for $700 dollars. It's section 64 I believe. I sat at a sharp angle one time in Hershey Park and it sucked. All you can really see from that angle is Dave and Fonzie.

I saw some poor souls behind the stage when James Brown came out in 02', I felt bad for them. They really shouldn't even sell those tickets.

I mean I guess it's still a concert and you can hear the music. But seeing the band is really part of the fun. I would take crappy seats in a stadium if they were really cheap.

huh. well, i'm sure they've gotta pull out somethin special for MSG, and night 2 usually has a slight edge over night 1 (except for the tweeter center this summer). I'm psyched to see them in an indoor arena. I'm psyched period, cos MSG is definitly in the top 5 venues to see dmb.

I was up there in 02. The only thing cool about being up there is the vista. [scenery]. I love looking at the crowds at shows.
