DMB in Toronto

Unread post by SaxMan123 » Sat Oct 01, 2005 10:05 am

Finally, the DMB concert that WAS supposed to be September 3rd got moved to November 4th in Toronto, unfortunatly it is at a indoor venue, the Air Canada Center. Anyone on these boards Canadian that will be going to the show. Tickets go on sale on the 6th of October for the Toronto show, all the American tickets go on sale on the 7th for their up coming shows. I cant wait, it will be my first DMB concert since I started listening to them a couple of years ago and I missed their last show in 2004 when they played the Molson Amphitheater.

Just out of curiousity, where is Albion, PA? Cause I know you hit up the Burghettstown shows, and Canada seems like a far way away from there, considering State College is only a 2, 2 1/2 drive from there.

Right by Erie. I hit I-90 and take that 1 1/2 hours towards Buffalo and then its like another 1 1/2 hour drive to Toronto...probably less. Not too bad, plus the date of the State College show is bad for my schedule.

If the lake wasn't a factor, I could get to Canada in 1/2 hour.

Cool deal. I'm hoping to hit up State College cause its closer for me. I'm like an hour east of Pittsburgh.

dunno where that is. I know im in a good spot, facing the stage, sitting in one of the corner sections though of the upper level. all the lower level seats were sold out. from where I will be sitting at least I wont have to crane my neck to see the stage like I did when I saw The Eagles. There better not be any drunken old hags dancing behind me either and spilling alcohol all over me, nothing like going home smelling of pot and alcohol from other people's stupidity to end a good concert, as thats what happened at the Eagles show. I got my tickets on Saturday, im suprised there were any left, I would have figured it would have sold out really fast, as the last DMB show back in 2004 when they did the Molson Amphitheater gig sold out in 30 mins.

it was a great show, just the yappy broads wouldnt shut up so I had trouble hearing the music when they started laughing really loudly which happened several times before I politely asked them to stop talking. They had been drinking though and they got all rude for some reason even though I was being nice. The Eagles are a acoustic band, its not like the show was uber loud either.
