odds of a good setlist tonight?

Unread post by czech » Thu Aug 25, 2005 12:26 pm

So im going tonight to the show in chula vista california.
What is lame is that I got the tickets with the intentions that i just wanted to hear Say Goodbye. One of the only songs i've never heard live.
Or maybe Crush, i've only seen crush twice i think.
both were played last show of the gorge.
Now i know they dont play a lot of songs two nights in a row, but since its been a couple days since they last performed, do you think they will still not doub;e up on songs sionce they played them at the "last" performance?

You never know for sure, but unfortunately I would expect a weaker set. They are just coming off the big 3 night Gorge stand where they went all out so its likely they could cash it in tonight. I got the same thing at Darien Lake. I wanted to hear #34 or You Never Know and got neither because they were gearing up for Randalls at the time.

It's weird with DMB. You'll haer all the songs they want everyone to hear at both concerts...basically a bunch of the new songs. Then they get into a groove with old songs and will repeat them at different venues but not at both nights. So is there a chance that you'll hear Say Goodbye or Crush...yes, but since they are fairly rare as it is I am going to have to say no. One of them possibly, both of them almost def not

i think they should wing it. you know, just have a monster list of songs on a big wheel and spin it before each song...that would be cool

that would be SICK. do that for N1, and then N2 structure it beforehand. like pick random people to spin the wheel, and have it displayed on the screens.
