Farm Aid

Unread post by Dooder » Fri Aug 05, 2005 3:14 pm

anybody going? or if you've ever been to the tweeter center or are from the chicago area, i have a few questions. does anybody know how long it takes to get from O'Hare to tinley park? i assume it would have to be by cab. i've opted to fly to chicago rather than make the 16 hour drive, then make it back in time for class the next day.

I am not from the Chicago area but I suggest you try http://www.mapquest.com to find how long it takes. They always overshoot on the time though.

yeah fuck mapquest, i always get somewhere like an hour quicker than what it says it does. i was hoping somebody from the area would have a good idea of modes of travel from O'Hare to tinley park (eg. subways, buses...you name it) because i don't wanna get stuck with some expensive ass cab ride.

Well when you land in Chicago you should try and scout out an info desk. Usually in big cities they have public transportation stuff available. I'm sure you can get shuttles out of the airport but good luck getting a lot of help from the awful airport employees.

I'll be there, as long as my girlfriend can get it off work, I have the tickets, so I'm hoping to be there :-)
