Say Goodbye

Unread post by i like tictacs » Sun Jun 26, 2005 10:20 pm

Yep. Played tonight. Too bad the rest of the set still blew chunks, but from what I hear, it was really a fun show. Here's to say goodbye at mansfield. 8-)

And heres to Say Goodbye at SPAC. Seriously though aside from that there was nothing different about tonights show, they still need to change it up more.

It wasn't a bad setlist actually. No Two Step ... No Jimi Thing ... A lot of Stand Up, which is understandable.

I really would have liked to have had Joy Ride in there instead of WAYG but the teenybopper drunk fuckheads ROVE that song : /

I was at the show. Say Goodbye was great to hear. The whole concert was awesome. Dave had so much energy!! Yeah, they played 10 Stand Up songs, but that doesn' matter because they played them all great. Robert Randolph added a lot and the Louisiana Bayou jam was incredible!

how did they go into say goodbye, a long carter intro where everyone was guessing into daves guitar... or did they all just start off suddenly

Long Carter intro ... I thought it was going to be Say Goodbye but I figured there's no way in hell they were going to play it.

Let's just say that when Dave and LeRoi started into the song and everyone flipped out and started singing along ... Well it got a little dusty in the pavilion ... That's all I'm saying. Brought back good memories from '96-'97

:)

I also would like to hear this...again. The show last night was incredible. Even the Stand Up stuff wasn't bad. The band deffinatly had more energy than the previous night (hershey). Or maybe I was just more drunk. Either way, last night was phenominal, and hearing Say Goodbye was a treat.

So is this show as a whole up for download anywhere?

There's an mp3 and video of it at antsmarching.org

The intro was Carter on the drums and Dave started playing the riff softly. I knew what was coming. :D

He could have but I thought it was that he was saying fuck because of Carter's solo ... :)

But you are right, at the beginning it was a bit "out of sync" :)
