I have never been to a DMB concert or a concert outside a very small venue. This summer me and some friends are thinking of going to see Dave in Saratoga. I'm real excited. Has anyone ever been to this venue and how did you like it? And what should i expect from the concert?

ive seen many shows from lawn at spac...dave. allman brothers, phish, blues traveler ect... lawns is actually damn good at spac, there are huge titantrons along the edge of the roof of the pavillion, so if your looking for that close up action, youll able to see, plus if your getting there right when the gates open you can get right up along the baniter..there is almost a flat path ooo 20 feet wide along the banister before it hits the lawn, so if your thing isnt sitting and chillin on the grass you can move on up and have nothing in your way between you and the stage. if you position yourself right you can have multiple screens right in front of you too. hope this helps peace

EDIT; tailgating is the shit there too, its a camp ground so parking can get madddddd crazy (ie waiting 3 hours to get out of the parking lot for phish) butt its pretty cool, there is this huge pond and kinda like these stone walkways near the parking lot... no problem drinking and blazing it up pre show though
