Yeah that's true... I wonder if they're planning on breaking out some rarities this year. I'd still be pretty pissed if they teased Blue Water or Last Stop.
Last Stop is the last song on my "must hear live" list that I still haven't gotten. Once I do, maybe I'll feel like I can stop shelling out hundreds every summer to see them.

Load-out's going quick...not much time to type. It's been chilly out here this week, though we'll take 50° over 105° and humid. After teasing Blue Water over the past couple shows, we can tell that DMB are getting worked up over it. We're bound to hear it before long. Short drive ahead of us tonight. Are you kidding? They had no intentions* of playing it. Dave indulged the crowd after a ridiculous Last Stop chant. Yeah, it was a let down when they went into 27, but a jerk move it was not. There are good reasons they don't just bring back random songs. They're professional musicians and they rehearse. I wouldn't want to hear a half-assed Last Stop. Would you?

Unfortunately, the fans don't have the luxury of seeing the set list before the show. You never know when they're going to bust a song out. And it's not unheard of to play a song not on the set list to please the fans. I've gotten an impromptu mid-set Halloween and an impromptu #40 due to crowd chants.
