looks like it might be a Billy Preston tune...
I hope it's not a cover. I could see this sounding like complete and utter shit. The band could pull it off, but Dave? ehhh

it was a superb gig,
the two step drum solo was unreal, best ive heard.
also, when did die trying get so cool? same with Lousiana Bioyou
i loved that gig and iv never seen a cround build like that (most people there wouldnt know DMB very well) it started a little slow , but built and built and built.
it was crazy good.,, loved it.
Gervais on Rosa Parks "she was arrested but then that law was changed- but she didnt stop there, she started sitting in the seats saved for disabled people. unbelavable, she talked to the driver when the bus was in motion- did she have the correct change ready? - did she bollox!"

Thanks man!DMBassist52 wrote:i hope milligan enjoyed his first dmb show
And Hell yes i did! It was amazing. Start to finish. For some reason i wasnt overflowing with excitment before the show, i dont know why, maybe seeing the previous sets, i dont know. But as soon as they came out i was just "buzzing" DDTW is just the perfect opener and the rest of the show just followed.
Highlights? Prob DDTW, SMTS>ASB>Too Much and of course, the untouchable #41. I was just in total ore of these guys. They looked to be having so much fun.
Suprises? Id have to go with Bayou and Die trying. The jam at the end of Bayou was really good, Boyd went nuts and seems to thrive of the crowd.
Just an incredible night. And one i have been decribing to everyone as "the best night of my life"

I hope they come back soon (Dave said they would), and ill never be-little a set list again. Because its true, even if the set's arent the most amazing, you can still have a great time. You guys are so lucky they tour each year.
Here's to next time!
Ricky Bobby: 98% of people will die sometime in their lives.
good to hear a positive response about the band. lately it's been pretty negative, saying their sets are bland and they are a waste of money. we take for granted the fact that they tour the states every summer and reading this response pumped me up for the upcoming tour. i've said it before, even when the sets are similiar or fairly boring on paper, they still put on a great live show. i've always had a good time watching them perform and i've seen them at least 20 times. what's better than a summer night with friends and some green at a show? not much.Milligan wrote:Thanks man!DMBassist52 wrote:i hope milligan enjoyed his first dmb show

I liked how the writer described WTWE as a song that "drifted by precise degrees into long instrumental odysseys."pacific34 wrote:good description of dave and the band by the writer. good read, thanks.taparoo wrote:well what do you know, a positive review

I hope that doesn't become a regular cover, hopefully like Sweet Caroline where it'll only be played a few times.paulaitchison wrote:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C_DybpKKEI0
