i didn't hear 34, but i was peeing...and i believe dreaming tree was just the first few notes by dave.

also, other sidenotes to my little paragraph before...dave's solo vocals into dream girl were amazing...ddtw was amazing..and bartender was..well..amazing. too much was also very very energetic..awesome.

Alright finally back, SPAC parking sucks. Overall a decent show, nothing special. I was just glad to be inside because it was a constant down pour all night. First of all let me say that teases don't really do a whole lot for me, its pretty much the band saying, "Hey remember this awesome song that we used to play all the time? Yeah well were going to play a few notes to piss you off and remind you how cool it is without actually giving you the satisfaction of hearing the whole thing." Anyway, on to the review:

One Sweet World - Standard nothing special
DDTW - Great version, Dave was really into it.
Dreamgirl - This was another highlight, the new jam they added at the end has made this one a lot better.
Hunger For The Great Light - Dave started this one off by sarcastically saying they were going to play a love song. I was expecting I'll Back You Up or Crash, but instead I got Rapunzel's dirty cousin. Overall its a good rockin song and they played it well tonight.
Nancies - Excellent. Boyd tore this one up.
#34 Tease - Thought they were actually going to play the whole thing because Dave and Stefan were playing it very loud, but it just died off because it go zero crowd reaction due to half the crowd being dumbasses who don't even know what the song is.
Grey Street - Good, but ever since they cut out the 3rd verse a few years back this one has dropped a few notches in my book.
Where Are You Going - This song needs to die a painful death, thats just all there is to it.
Stand Up - Solid version, the Carter breakdowns are sweet but the song just seems like it needs a guest.
Stolen Away - I actually really got into this song, probably due to the fact that I ran into an old girlfriend seconds before the show began so the lyrics became extremely relatable to me.
Bartender - Started off great, and Dave's wailing was outstanding, it gave me the chills. However, when Butch takes over and starts that new funky piano solo they have tossed in there it really ruins the mood of the song. Bartender is a very serious sounding song and Butch's solo seems way out of place.
Crash - Standard
Bayou - Awesome, probably the best of the night. The jam at the end is nasty, however everytime I hear it, it makes me wish they put that at the end of the studio cut instead of that horrendous Boyd solo that is on there now.
Steady - Not really a big fan of this song, Dave got into it though which is always cool to see.
Too Much - Best version I have ever seen of this song. The whole band just knocked this one out of the park, amazing.
Dreaming Tree Tease - This was awesome to hear, but it just reminds me that they should be playing more songs like that instead of 10 Stand Up songs a night.
American Baby - I like this tune, and Dave wailing at the end makes it even better.
Ants - Awesome, Ants never gets old to me.

Ok I'm off to SPAC again, hopefully they aren't dead tired from Live 8 today. I'll post another review when I get back.
