Yeah its definatly badass. I dont think I would like it as an opener though, which theyve done a few times this tour. Too much energy to just come out and play first song.

i don't know man. they open w/ grey street sometimes and it's usually pretty awesome. i like it 1 of two ways. big strong opener, grey street, ddtw, or maybe hftgl. or a long jam opener that takes up a good 15 min. like PNP intro into PNP and rapunzel.

DDTW is a great opener, but HFTGL isnt DDTW, by any means. Maybe in a year or two it will be a good opener, but it hasn't achieved that status yet.

Guys I was there last night and at the Charlotte concert. Charlotte was much better. But I was wondering, what was that really funky jam in the middle of typical situation?

The 04 Typical from the stand up bonus disc is real damn good. I hope they keep that jam in there.

i think its interesting that the most played non-stand up song this tour has been Crash Into Me. you guys think this is because they still want to please the casual fans who just know/like the big hits? maybe as a safety valve for the SU songs

Yes I just listend to it on the Wharehous stand up bonus CD. It is like 8 minutes and 30 seconds in. That song was incredible live. The best songs in Raleigh were definitely Typical Situation, Ants Marching, and Hunger for the Great Light. I was kind of upset to hear say goodbye two nights in a row.

I'm heading off to SPAC in a little bit, I'll be in section 13 indoors. I'll post a review when I get back tonight. Its a longshot, but I'm hoping for a big surprize tonight, maybe a full #34.
