I love it. Not on my top ten though. I think it's the best new song DMB has played in years, so different.

Come Back: Sweet up and Down
Please God, this song has most awesome, perfect, thundering combination between stefan and carter, and as I've said many times, is Boyd's last great song.

Leave: Hunger for the great light
This song is a pile of garbage. Its boring, dissonant, it never changes much from show to show, and has totally forced lyrics.

Stay Away: Raven. This song is good with dave solo, but does not make very good use of boyd ot roi with the band.
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away

It's not that hard to fathom that somebody doeant like that song. It has an annoying melody and the lyrics are kind of dumb, the ones you can decipher anyway.

yeah, i can see that deffinately. it's hard to rock out to, and it's a bit scratchy and unfinished at times.

i really like how the drums fit that main riff, and i really like the long jam at the end. in terms of just long jams, it's one of my favorite for DMB (minus Bartender , Last stop, and Spoon probobly)

speaking of....who's going to boston tomorrow. and hoping for some last stop action?

he was okay, i just wasn't that impressed... he doesn't really have a stage presence, he's not entertaining like warren or tim.

For some reason I think the band rejected this song. Mainly because it was played on the Dave and Friends tour. I don't think any DMB songs were played by all of those guys at once (not just Dave and Tim). Good song though, not sure why they dropped it.

Edit: I was talking about SUAD

I like him, soulive is quite the talented band
