I agree it's weak he uses a teleprompter to remember lyrics. But does that really change the way the song sounds? If you weren't close up you wouldn't be able to tell. I have a feeling he used it for Halloween because he mucked up the lyrics so badly at Red Rocks.jellyfish wrote:No, I've seen N2 setlist songs several times this year and over the past ten. Also, I have already seen Halloween at MSG where he didn't have to use a teleprompter to remember the lyrics. Why am I nuts, oh, probably because you were at N2 and are biased.Chris#41 wrote:ur nutsjellyfish wrote:Oh yeah, Pig plus ABI is a good night. I really think N1 trumped N2.

I posted in another thread about the teleprompter. No lie my one friend just got engaged to the guy who runs the teleprompter. I was like, "wow, I can't believe he uses one," but whatever.CoSta wrote:hahah for real?Nitro1515 wrote:That's because he is using a teleprompter now since he can't remember the lyrics to his own songs.bassplayer22 wrote:Halloween was just awesome, esp that he got all the lyrics, sounded real tight.

I went to both Night 1 and Night 2.
I will say that Night 2 is up there with one of the BEST DMB concerts I've ever seen. It was HEAD AND SHOULDER'S above Night 1. Now certain parts of each night stood out...but there wasn't a SINGLE bad thing about Night 2 EXCEPT for Hunger...I'm just not crazy about it.
Randolph jamming out like crazy to 2 of the newer songs. Of the Stand Up Songs...EVERY ONE was jammed out...like great jams. AND, EVERY old song was played out ridiculously. There was nothing but sick jams in this set. Then to go into that Encore? I'm not sure if you were at both shows Jelly...and your 100% entitled to your opinion...but from someone who was at the shows, Night 1 wasn't even on Night 2's radar

Im glad you enjoyed bioth nights. I can only make my opinion based on the setlists alone since I wasn't there to feel the energy. I remember N2 in 02, that place was on fire. But, I really thought N2 setlist was very typical of an MSG show or almost any other show this summer.jkanter wrote:I went to both Night 1 and Night 2.
