yeah to bad the rest of the show sucked. Ok right, they played Say Goodbye. Wonderful. It doesn't change the fact that almost everything else played has been played at least 5 other times this tour...and the fact that once again, almost all of Stand Up was played. To be honest, I, and hopefully everyone else, would not have come out of that concert (even with Say Goodbye being played) feeling like I got my money's worth. RR would have been a cool addition, granted, and I am a huge fan of his...but these setlists are mediocre at best, and what do we have to look forward to now....once every couple of shows they pull out something that actually interests us? This is depressing.
i feel like people are starting to take for granted the magic they create on stage. so the setlist doesn't live up to your expectations. so they didn't play your favorite tune. fact is i enjoyed hearing a majority of stand up songs. i like seeing them up on stage dynamically molding the new tunes in front of thousands of fans. if you're not interested anymore or afraid the setlist won't be magical, don't go...you're losing sight of what it's all about. give your ticket to someone who's never been, and let them experience the magic.

I completely agree. While I like rare surprises as much as the next guy, the concerts I went to this summer were definatly kickin. Great energy from the band and from the crowd, even during the new songs. Before this tour I remember hearing people complain (including myself) that the band needs to cool it with Jimi Thing, WTWE, If I Had It All, and some others. These songs are few and far between in the sets, which is great. And I love that almost every show they are debuting at least one song, which nearly guarentees a surprise per show. While its not their best tour of all time, its still a great experience to see them in 05.
