There will be fans out there that have been to some shows with these "shitty" setlists, and really enjoyed them. There may be people who love the stand up and ED albums. There are more fans out there than us. Think of all the younger fans who might just be getting into DMB and had a great time and fell in love with the band.

Lets just accept the band will play these songs, but lets just appreciate it when the rare songs come out.
i could give a fuck what the entire fanbase wants to hear, when i go to a show i want to hear the songs im interested in, it's my money and if i dont see a show i consider up to par, i have the right to complain. im not going to accept a set that is shitty IMO just because other people may enjoy it, that is just foolish.
if that were the case for everyone dmb shows would be the grumpiest place on earth.

not if you include the fact now it seems 75% of the people at the shows arent there for the music.

The crowds get worse and worse with each year. In '96 at SPAC the crowd was great. Everyone was just hanging out on the lawn, sitting down and listening to the music. Flash forward 10 years and its completely different. The lawn is like a war zone. Pushing and shoving, people talking on their cell phones, not paying attention to the music.

the pavillion is pretty shitty anymore too. especially the better the seats you get. last time i had good pavillion seats at a dmb show, the people next to me were uninterested and got the tickets because who their parents knew, or who their parents were, or even worse the middle-aged people who have gotten into the band through the radio.
