MORON!
i actually expected them to be better live; i figured that live would be 100% dave matthews band and zero percent mark batson/technology

I'm not into do detailed reviews.....but I wanted to say that the show tonight in Va Beach was really solid. I just love to hear them live. Butch is really coming into his own.

some thoughts on this show.

pretty pissed coming in as it took me 3 1/2 hours to make the 25 mile drive to the amphitheatre from where i was staying. because of which, i missed the opening of AB. dave scatted for a few mins it seemed on OSW, which was cool. a lot of stand up, A LOT. but it was good to see all these songs live. the crowd wasn't all that great, many people didn't know the everyday outro to #41, which made it kinda dull where i was sitting. dave was getting into bayou so much that while dancing during a jam he lost his earpiece, ended up stop playing while the band continued to try and fix it, but sure enough, monk saved the day. dave pulled up a chair and sat down for stolen away, which i'm not sure why. but all in all, damn good show. next stop charlotte, leaving extra early this time.

what? people were complaining about the setlist and suggesting they throw in some other songs...so i said i thought it would be cool if they started a show with sweet up and down like on LWS...
