That's because he is using a teleprompter now since he can't remember the lyrics to his own songs.
hahah for real?

It really is. People like Ozzy Osbourne use a teleprompter since he was a coke head and half his brain is fried. But for Dave to use one just shows how lazy he has become. How do you forget lyrics to songs that you wrote and consistently play night after night since they barely change their setlists now.

I've always wondered how he remembers the music and lyrics for each of his...well, over 50? songs. How long has he been using a teleprompter though? Just this tour?

In the past he has read from a sheet on the floor and now at the end of this past summer tour and all of the winter he has been using the prompter. And they have close to 200 songs in their catalogue yet they have been playing the same 35-40 ones during the past couple tours so it shouldnt be that hard for him to remember them.

No, I've seen N2 setlist songs several times this year and over the past ten. Also, I have already seen Halloween at MSG where he didn't have to use a teleprompter to remember the lyrics. Why am I nuts, oh, probably because you were at N2 and are biased.

well i just wanna say being a better show and having a better set are 2 different things. i think n2 was both but i guess its argueable to some. i wasnt at n1 but i am fairly certain the energy wasnt close to that of n2. they were just on and having a blast, boyd was great n2 and rashawn played some amazing stuff. everything was goin well. i think personally n2 had a better set which can be argued but from being at n2 and seeing how amazing it was i think if you ask someone who went to both which show was better they'll def tell you n2.

My brother saw the Red Hot Chili Peppers twice on two different tours. They changed two songs in the setlist between the two concerts.

So, with that knowledge, maybe some people should be a little more thankful for the fact that if you go to two nights of DMB, you get roughly 30-35 different songs..as opposed to...say 19 or so.

In case you haven't forgot I have seen 40 shows, and probably saw Seek Up/41/ and all the rest of the songs more than a few times. N1 would have been better for me. So quit writing your fucking 8 page paragraphs because it's all opinion. And remember GSR, I wasn't bitching :)
If it's your opinion and you don't want other people to put in their opinions, maybe you should have posted this in a more random thread.
