Here's a good plan, why don't you just say that instead of calling me a cunt or douche. Or going the tictacs route and quoting something that apparently has nothing to do with you.bbatsell wrote:exACTly. even if you didn't remember who it was, you could have written something like "somebody posted this a while ago, but I'm not sure who, it's a good planNuladion wrote:I really don't think anyone would be mad at you if you had just credited it in the first place. The way you wrote it, it came off like it was your idea.".

I imagine tictacs quoted because he, like anyone else who's been on the boards for more than say, a month, knew that that was check's idea you were trying to pass off as your own.
I really didn't think that cribbing someone's idea, not crediting them, and not realizing that that's a "bad thing" was possible (not to mention becoming even more of a snooty cunt when called on it). Thank you for making me realize that I must dumb my posts down even further for the likes of you.
Sorry for completely hijacking your thread, ibmanley. Back to your regularly scheduled programming.

craigslist is also a good place to find tickets sometimes.
1. register a dummy username and offer to buy them (when you find them) at full price, email several times saying hey do you still have them, etc.
2. a week before the show, say that you can't attend or can't buy tickets.
3. with real username later that day, email them and say you remember they were selling tickets, are they still? haggle them down, which they will go with because of lack of time to sell them.
4. cheap tickets!
5. and therefore...profit.
do step 2 early enough to allow for shipping to your real username, but not too early.

I know, i know that this thread is horribly off topic, but I think it's long gone by now.
