hosting the oscars is like winning the heisman trophy. no matter how you do in the ballgame, or whatever, they can't take it away from you. and even if you kill your wife and an ex-waiter, they still have a hard time taking it away from you

While disagreements and opinions are welcome about other people's posts, let's try and keep this civil, no bitching, nor accusing others of bitching.
Come Back:
Proudest Monkey - This song hasn't been played full band more than 10 times than 1999. Its a real chill song, and the live versions really let LeRoi shine.
Leave:
Stolen Away on 55th and 3rd - Luckly this song hasn't reared its head this winter tour. It was played 18 times this summer tour, a good bit of times in the first encore slot. It's a boring song, with awful lyrics. I hope it stays on the shelves for a while.
Stay Away:
Mother Father - It was played in 2001, and that's it. If I was an athlete I'd point towards the sky in thanks. This song is disgusting. I feel Everyday would be a much stronger album if this was not on it, and the live shows are much stronger without it. Staw away, Mother Father.

That was one of my favorites at Randall's.

Im old school, what can I say. The lyrics in Stolen Away are amazing to me. They actually capture Erika & I's relationship extremely well.GSR wrote:J between that and sugar will your taste in dave tunes sucks.jellyfish wrote:DMBassist52 wrote:Recently I've been (pun intended) seeing a lot of posts where people (including myself) discuss what songs need to come back, what songs need to stop being played, and what songs that aren't played need to stay that way.

Hello again
Seem like forever between now and then
You look the same
I mean you look different but you haven't changed
Funny to think how the time gets away
Funny how you take me right back again
Stole me away
First time I saw you, you did me that way
What should I say?
I saw you laughin' and I was afraid that I'd get in the way
I did not think I would see you again
So how have you been?
Do you remember, lose everything
I met her 15 years ago and we always planned on getting married but our locations hindered us from seeing each other. Finally, we got back together after 15 years of being apart just about the time this song was released. Im not a fan of the song on the CD but hearing it live was great.
Anyway, it's more sentimental than anything. I try to relate all of Dave's songs towards my life. and the ones that parallel my life the most are the onesI tend to enjoy the most.
I don't think you know the outcome of our situation.Chris#41 wrote:Come back - YNK, So right, Sweet up and down,
leave - smooth rider.
stay away - i did it. sugar will.
agree with jelly, i like stolen away......
i am in the same situation now that u were in...with a long distance thing keeping us apart. hopefully mine will work out the way yours did.

Unless you want to hate her eternally, you'd better not hope it turned out the way mine did.

She dicked me over really fucking hard about 3 weeks ago. I flew out there[ San Fran] for the weekend but only ended up staying a few hours.
I left without saying a word..... I gave her some nasal spray, blew her nose and then that was the last I heard or saw of her. I was extremely nice to her up until the end, got to go out with some dignity!! [except for the bio page on my website]
the bright side is, I get to hopefully have sex with a 20 year old in two weeks.Chris#41 wrote:im thinking it might turn out that way regardless...unfortunately
She calls constantly, as well as IM'img to the point where she is annoying, but I just want one hit of that 20 year old college body. Damn, I miss those days.
i'd like to hear joyride make a comeback
