i'm not down with the stand up material, but from the band's perspective they have been playing their older, more hardcore fan friendly material for 15 years. they have to get away from playing those tunes every night for 15 straight summers or they are surely going to get bored out of their fucking minds. i think they are trying to keep it fresh for themselves more than anything. i don't think they are worried about keeping or losing fans at this point in their career, they already have established an enormous fan base that isn't going to waver, at least not the majority, b/c of some suspect setlists. they still put on amazing live shows. honestly how many times can we bitch and moan. it is what it is. they won't care if some of you stop going to shows. i promise.

Raven, Captian, BEF, YNK, Crazy Easy, Sugar Will, So Right but to name a few. Been playing them for 15 years? I think not.

Im also one who doesnt bitch about sets, but this tour has been a massive let down in respect of looking forward to "watching the sets".

No variety, no originality, nothining rare. I think Gianni said mentioned the start of last years sets, i remember thinking they were awesome too.

What the hells up with the band?

No shit. there is something to be said about rarities. if they played those tunes on a consistant basis, they would lose their appeal. i remember people being pumped about sweet up and down coming back, and before you know it people were pissed b/c they were playing it too much. It's 3 weeks into the tour, so i think it's a little early to be calling it a "massive let down."

No shit. there is something to be said about rarities. if they played those tunes on a consistant basis, they would lose their appeal. but itd be nice if they still played them, even only a couple times a tour, instead of hunger/bayou/stay every night. i remember people being pumped about sweet up and down coming back, and before you know it kahn pissed b/c he only likes dirty hippie setlists. They're already done with 1/3 of the tour, if they keep this is up it, DMBs 07 summer tour will be a "massive let down."

i got a feeling while leaving the show... it was wishing i was back in 04 for the first time i saw them (6/23 & 6/29).

i had a good time, but that came second to my mind convincing me the best was yet to come the entire show.

im confused on weather to get another ticket for a show later on in the tour. hopefully we see them evolve the tour into something better. hopefully my mind is just convincing me the best is yet to come...
Please help me...there are worshipers on my ass and chest.
