new posts

i don't read there being any new posts since sunday, and obviously there have been...

what can i do? when i click on a thread where there have been posts i can read them, but in the main pages it lists the last posts as having occured on sunday and it doesn't show any new pages.

that sounds like some really strict caching by your browser. what browser are you running? if you know how, delete your cache and set the cache time to something lower.

i'm running internet explorer, a fairly new one if not the newest. i'll see what i can do, but i'm going to need some help on deleting cache and setting the cache time to something lower... no clue what all that is...

All right, this post will be a bit lengthy and will take a little time to load, but hopefully it will help you out.
  1. Open up Internet Explorer.
  2. Go to Tools --> Internet Options.

  3. Delete your cache (click the boxed button).

  4. Enter your cache settings (click the boxed button).

  5. Change your values to match mine.

    Hopefully the automatic option will work for you, if not then try it on "Every visit to the page"
Let me know if this fixes the problem.
