just a question. when i first started at this site, if i had a reply it would send me an e-mail right after i got the reply. now it seems to be about a day behind the actual reply. is this because there are so many members, or am i just observing wrong or what.

Yeah, I noticed that PM notification lags too. I would guess it's a host issue.
