I think it should be:

G:-x-----9\8---------
D:-x-------------10--
A:-x---------------
E:-x--8-------6------

I hear a slide, but now I'm not sure if it's 9\8 or 9\7. I think there's a slide in there though.

he plays this on the album (might even be timmy) but he doesn't play it your way live.
