Usergroups

About the usergroups, can we start any???? Does JKanter have to do it or one of the other mods????? I think it would be cool to start some, but maybe we'll have to wait after this huge update thingy goin on. Anyone else kinda interested in these usergroups????

I want to see what everyone thinks would be a good reason to have Usergroups. All I can see it doing is it seperate's this board between each other. The only reason that one would need a usergroup(in my opinion) is as a private section and as of now I don't see any reason to do that. We aren't a "Fanboy" Video Game Forum(not that I am saying you think that).

If you can convince me otherwise, I'll listen, then maybe we can start them...open forum...peace all

OK, I'm stupid. :oops: I had no idea what usergroups were, I thought they were those "titles" under peoples names. So I just wanted to clear that up. As for usergroups, I'm not real sure what they are used for. Are they just groups that you can say you belong to, that don't really do anything? Cuz if they are, then there isn't a real reason to have them.

Ok, no. They so seem kinda pointless. This isn't Area 51 or something so I think private forums would be stupid because people can just email people instead or something.

Right. My only application for Usergroups is, for example, my clan forum when we want to have inter-clan communication and not let the general public see it. The titles underneath people's names are called "Ranks" and kanter has them set up so that they change with the person's number of posts.

C'mon. I want an inner circle of regualrs that can ostracize the newbies until we find them worthy...and If they prove themselves to be worthy we can put them through embarassing and straining innitiations.

Then by building this clan of DMBTab monkies we could slowly take over the world...

But seriously it could be neat but I could see it dividing the groups which wouldn't be that nice...

Overall I wouldn't care wither way....as long as I'm in a group! :lol:

Yeah, it seems kinda fun, but it would be impossible to avoid clashes of groups and everyone would hate each other, it would turn in to the United States. JK :D :D :D :D :D

I don't think them to be of importance...


unless someone has a real use for them, and I don't believe it would do anything but cause problems and be an annoyance...


at least here, eveyone's cards are on the table...usergroups might do worse for us than contribute to the common good...

dont think there should be usergroups. too much of a hassle for kanter, xoosh, and pittman. not much use to it anyway
