Xoosh, I know you would be interested because you put out a lot of your originals. and jared too because I have heard some of your stuff too...lata!

We are looking into reworking the boards to be more effective. This is clearly the most used forum and others aren't as much. We will most def include a forum about posting your own stuff. No need to form a sticky here. It will almost def get turned into a bashfeast just like any post about personal MP3's whether it be here or any board in general. We will rewqork stuff...later

well, i was thinking that maybe if someone has just joined or something, he would want to have access to all the music since day one or something, or even the last week...and sometimes the post gets thrown out within a week so they can never listen...for example, what if someone wanted to hear supermans 41....they would be missing out...yea?

yes...that's why we are going to make a board....but for now, we don't need stuff a stickied topic up there. I also have some GREAT news...DMBTabs.com MAY be able to host mp3's for people!!! We may hvae solved our bandwidth problem. If this happened people could post audio/video files(correctly encoded) for their tabs for us to host. We could also possibly host people's personal DMB covers for review. This is all in the future but that'll be later on. Have a good one all...PEACE

IMO, a forum would be much better than a topic stickied b/c it would instantly turn into a 400 page thread and you'd just have to search the pages of threads instead of the pages in the forum.

Good idea, though. I'd love to see an mp3 forum.

Just thinking about this idea, and if Pittman's busy at Georgetown I'd be willing to cook up a php system to allow users to upload mp3's and integrate it with the forums... kanter, pm/email me if you would like me to work on something for ya.

Thankyou. I actually just registered on this site today and one of my reasons was so I could ask questions and converse about topics like this one. I have no idea where to get DMB songs that people have recorded based on tabs (Not many recordings under the tabs on the tab section here). Listening to other people play a song when it's just an accoustic based on tabs that are readily available is a tremendous help. It allows you to follow and most importantly get the rhythem down which is hard for beginers. I haven't been playing long, but listening to others when I'm trying to read a tab is the bigest help out there in my opinion. My support goes out to this idea...

How about a beginner, intermediate and advanced board---because i am not nearly as good as some of the players on this site. How do you go about making an MP3 anyway?
