Do you think you could eventually make a video of The Stone?

Because I really don't understand it...

The part in the main riff where it goes:

D|--3--5-5--2-3-2

I don't hear that first "2," there, so I just pull off from the 3rd to the 2nd.

And secondly, during the verse, where Dave plays that 31X3XX followed by the D|--5-5--2-3-2, how the long am I supposed to strum that stupid chord, lol? I feel really dumb for asking this, but I just don't understand at all.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

P.S. - The site is coming along GREAT! I love it. I direct as many people who ask for DMB tabs here as possible from other tab sites, because it really is the best.

The first 2 on the D string is there.

As for the 31X3XX, you play it for six counts (the song is in 6/8 ).

Oh, and while I can't speak for Kanter, I imagine the Stone is on the list of to-do videos.

Nah, you're not dumb. I was in band for 6 years, so I tend to try and explain things that way.

Lemme see if I can explain this (and my apologies if I can't - I'm kind of rushed at the moment).

Intro

The same amount of time it takes you to play that, is how long you play the 313 chord. If you were to tap your foot to the music, you would hit the ground on the A-5 and first D-5 notes (in the tab portion right above). Tap your foot 2 more times at that speed, and that's how long you play the 313.

When all else fails play along with a recording. Carter will make you feel it.

Ok I tried to make a video of it to post but my microphone sucks. So just go on Kazaa or Winmx or something and search for the stone video. I have a really good one that shows his hands almost the whole time.
