Last Stop On Trumpet

Topics about musical instruments other than guitar should go here. There's bound to be a Carter, LeRoi, or Yo-Yo Ma out there.

Last Stop On Trumpet

Unread post by SuperPratendo » Sat Jul 15, 2006 12:21 am

Hi, first time poster figured I'd thought I'd contribute something. Im not exactly good at writing out actual scores so here are the notes for a good idea of how it goes.

Code: Select all

(Sounds best with a straight mute)

Main Riff:

G# G# A C A G# | G# A C C# C A | G# A C A G#

"This is the last stop"

E E D# C# C

Accompaniment to Roi (a general idea of what he plays during the "so ritious" part)

G# F# G# F# E D# E F# G#

"Heyyy"

E..... D# (C or C#?)

Im open for suggestions or any mistakes I might have made.

Hmm,
I've played for ten years and I'll check it out once I open up the old case. I've never tried anything but Tweezer and Gotta Jiboo with the trumpet in my band though, I'm the singer and guitar man. Just reading it, it looks pretty close though, I can kinda hear it in my head.

That's correct, same key as sax, that part does work, and the outro you can basically play whatever, he just does a lot of jumping octaves.
