Sax part for #34
Sax part for #34
Can anybody write out the sax riff for #34? Just the notes... thanks in advance!
Right, it is the same riff as the guitar, but I don't have access to a guitar as a sax player, unfortunately. So I was hoping someone with guitar experience could write the riff out for tenor sax, like what LeRoi plays. It's kind of a tricky lick to play.i am sam2 wrote:i may be wrong...but is it not the same as the guitar part?
just the main riff that is...

just out of curiosity does that mean that for each there are different fingerings to hit, for example, a C?bbatsell wrote:soprano / tenor = Bb

It's just that a C on a tenor is not the same as a C on Alto. However, C's on tenor/soprano can be the same or octaves. Same goes with alto/bari.Vincent12 wrote:If you're reading music and you see a C written, the fingering is the same for all the saxes. (middle finger, left hand)

it means that if the concert key is C (piano, guitar, the violin family are all tuned to C), then the soprano and tenor is in Bb, and the alto and baritone are in Bbi am sam2 wrote:just out of curiosity does that mean that for each there are different fingerings to hit, for example, a C?bbatsell wrote:soprano / tenor = Bb
