Bass Strings

Topics about musical instruments other than guitar should go here. There's bound to be a Carter, LeRoi, or Yo-Yo Ma out there.

Whats your favorite set of strings for bass? I've been hopping around all over, haven't really found any that i really care for.

for some reason i have stuck with the black labels that came on my warwick. dont know why, just havent thought the sound needed improving...i think as long as the strings are decent, a players ability can overcome so-so strings
and they last forever so thats what i use.

this is true. its sooo cool playin with them(especially on a fretless). but i dont get them to play regularly becuase im afriad my callouses will become weaker along with the softer tone.

bitch. it's easier to tap with light gauge and i've been playing with nothing less than regular since i started playing.
