when is it time for new strings
ok is there like a certain amount of months or something. i know with guitarist they should chang there strings once a month if they play alot or something like that. i play at least 2 hours a day every day. i use d'addarrio strings and ive had them for at least 4 to 5 months.

if you are ever gonna play gigs i would get a fresh set on there and use them for about a week so that they are used to the bass then take them off and store them(dont cutthem) that way if somethin breaks durin a gig you can replace them quickly and easily cuz they are already fit to the bass, you can basically restring it standing up on stage..just gotta tune it

haha, its not easy, but its a hell of a lot easier than restringing with whole new strings...the wrap around the nut or whatever the turny thing is, you just stick it on there and turn you dont have to do any wrapping or anythingColdchillin23222 wrote:That sounds tricky.i am sam2 wrote:if you are ever gonna play gigs i would get a fresh set on there and use them for about a week so that they are used to the bass then take them off and store them(dont cutthem) that way if somethin breaks durin a gig you can replace them quickly and easily cuz they are already fit to the bass, you can basically restring it standing up on stage..just gotta tune it
