Help on Djembes and Congas....
Yea, so my friends buying congas and were gonna play some dispatchy kidna stuff and want to get another kind of latin percussion that i can play along with him with. (not bongos)
....so my questions are....
1. The difference between and djembe and conga
2. Which you recomend i buy
3. Any particular brands (around 175 range)

hey man.....yea ive been lookina round for a while and have a few posts in recordign and guitar related threads.......

djembe is a more versatile drum and can act alone, congas either need to come in pairs or along with bongos to be useful at alldmbDMBdmb wrote:any helpful posts....maybe on the question i posted?

i would suggest buying a djembe because they can be used without any other drums, you can get a wide array of tones from very low and booming, to high tones for accents
get a remo, best djembes ever
