do you use flat wound, half wound or round wound strings on your bass? what would you think is the best for dmb related material? i know you can't slap well on flats but also rounds make way too much noise for me.

well homes...my ahem...
newest..purchase uses roundwounds (right? or did i mix them up again?), as you know..

i'd stick with those mostly for fretless. i CRAVE to be able to slap on something that isn't 200 bucks..

flatrounds = smooth
roundwounds = rough
compare the two brah.

damn, reverse the two in my above post then. use the flats for fretless.

i can't imagine what flats on a fretted would feel like....i like their smoothity...but i can't have a fretted and not slap.
