a humble helpful person could have said in the first post "Im pretty sure minarets is in the key of Em, ive never heard a song being in the key of E harmonic minor."

first of all, i wouldn't have said "pretty" sure. i told you the facts, and you should know by now that any use of the word "numbnuts" (and its general equivalents) is not done so harshly

R&R is either Bb maj or Gm..probably Gm, which is already up there

Typical Situation is either G maj or Em. I think it's Em due to the first Em in the song establishes that tonality

Yes, they know musical theory and are obviously proud of it and sometimes their ego's are a bit inflated. The thing is, they will never be good teachers or good people in that aspect. They are the types of people who won't share with the world or they try to make it hard for you to understand purposely so that "you" actually thinks it's hard, when it really isn't. I worked with tons of people like these two. Not so much DMBfan but def. Josh.
