Official Harmonica Thread

Topics about musical instruments other than guitar should go here. There's bound to be a Carter, LeRoi, or Yo-Yo Ma out there.

are we back to Helping people 101?

a humble helpful person could have said in the first post "Im pretty sure minarets is in the key of Em, ive never heard a song being in the key of E harmonic minor."
first of all, i wouldn't have said "pretty" sure. i told you the facts, and you should know by now that any use of the word "numbnuts" (and its general equivalents) is not done so harshly
i kno, im not mad... but you still havent given me the correct key...
yes i did douchenozzle:
fatjack wrote:songs are either in major or minor
so, if you had the powers of deductive reasoning, you would have been able to figure out that its in Em
how the hell was i supposed to know the E minor part of the E harmonic minor was right?
I believe we both know the real answer to that question...

Anal lubrication.

P.S. I just got done work for the day which was unbelievably slow, so I had to let a little steam out.. anal lubrication style
anal lubrication style is the best style.
I know nothing or Harmonic and Melodic minor yet, so I couldn't tell you what the difference is

You could share your knowledge without the bullshit, dude. But more than likely you will just respond with more. It's cool. It's just how you are.

The Best of What's Around is in Am(or Cmaj) for the Verse and A for the Chorus and other shit

R&R is either Bb maj or Gm..probably Gm, which is already up there

Typical Situation is either G maj or Em. I think it's Em due to the first Em in the song establishes that tonality

Nancies is in D maj

everything else I looked at was right

Usually when FJ & DMBfan63 are in a thread together that's what happens. They like to belittle people who don't know much theory. Yes, they know musical theory and are obviously proud of it and sometimes their ego's are a bit inflated. The thing is, they will never be good teachers or good people in that aspect. They are the types of people who won't share with the world or they try to make it hard for you to understand purposely so that "you" actually thinks it's hard, when it really isn't. I worked with tons of people like these two. Not so much DMBfan but def. Josh.

Do I care, No. Do they need to lighten up, Yes. Do I care that they need to lighten up, No. Do I care that I don't have any musical theory knowledge, No. Will music theory get you ahead in life, No. Will music theory get you laid, No. Will music theory make you millions of dollars, No.

First off, I don't know much theory at all. I try to use what I know to work my way through helping out people who need it.

Second off, I could totally get laid using music theory..

and Third, I did help, since I just listed a couple keys that weren't on there

Oh, and for So much to say, why is the chorus in C exactly? Am is the relative of C, why can't the entire thing just be in Am?

I just wrote that stuff to get a rise out of FJ. Not sure why I really included you.
