i just want some with more of the slap tone for a band im trying to get rolling, its a red hot chili peppers tribute, so i want something i can through around a bit more.

Yeah you can, just get straplocks. I'd say it's better for throwing around because you can iron out the dents in the wood. dent the fender and the paint or clear coat is fucked.

its really heavy though, and it has built into wood strap locks.

Fenders are heavy as hell too...

What do you plan on doing? Throwing it around your neck? That went out with hair metal. :lol: :lol:
