Some people, including myself, remove the neck from the body of the sax and shake the spit out. I probably shouldn't do that, but I do. I don't suck the spit out. And as for the beeping noise, he COULD be biting the reed. But his reeds are wood, right? They would break pretty easy unless he uses a 4 or 5. I don't know. I use plastic and wood reeds, both 4s. And Leroi is experienced enough to use 4s and 5s. *shrugs*
The strange thing about the beeping is the fact that it sounds a little airy. I think it sounds awesome.
