ok so, i have a friend who has this 6 string and since hes going off to college and he needs some money for his car and stuff(he has a truck and hes going to cal polly for engineering.) he needs some extra money. he said he'd sell it to me for cheap since he has no use for it, and he's in need of the money. if my mom sells her car she said she'd loan the money to me. i just need to know what to ask for it. its an ibanez btb i found one just like it(color and everything) on ebay.

ya, theres no way id sell my corvette without having a better 4 string replacing it. i was thinking asking like 350 for the bass, he really said hed let it go for cheap, but i dont wanna rip him off. he pretty much taught me alot at bass and he was just doing it to be helpful didnt stick me in one of his bass lessons just mentored me, i wouldnt be able to play harmonics as well as i do or be able to do slide harmonics or slap harmonics. i wouldnt be able to slap as fast or do the downstroke up stroke thumb thing. my timing would be twice as bad, ive gotten alot better with his help. so ya.

see i cant do it very well...ive tried it, butits just not my thing. i use a lot of double thumping my thumb and the open hammer stuff to make a quicker sound but really playing super fast slap isnt my favorite (though that could be cuz i cant do it very well)...as victor says, just find your own thing and run with it...thats what i dobassman462 wrote:kinda, i dont do it often, im not very good at it but i can do it, i use to do it in u cant hold no groove but i found out it sounds better without that. but sometimes it does i guess. i can only do it on D and G.
